No special preparation is needed. The MINT technician arrives fully equipped with a van-mounted dip tank, protective floor covers, and all tools. Just make sure the oven is cool and there is access to a power socket near the kitchen.

MINT cleans all major oven brands: Neff, Bosch, Siemens, AEG, Miele, Smeg, Belling, Rangemaster, Falcon, Hotpoint, Candy, and others. If you are unsure whether your model is covered, contact us before booking.

Do you clean Neff Slide and Hide ovens?

Yes. MINT technicians are trained specifically on Slide and Hide and fully-retractable door mechanisms. The door is disassembled safely, all layers of glass are cleaned, and the door is reassembled correctly. No extra charge.

What if my oven has really heavy grease build-up?

The dip tank handles even heavily carbonised racks and parts. Extremely neglected ovens may take longer, but the result is the same: a thorough clean throughout. The technician will let you know if any parts cannot be fully restored.

Yes. Add a hob clean or extractor fan clean to your oven booking at no extra call-out charge. Select them when booking online or mention them when you contact us.

How do I know if my extractor fan needs cleaning?

If cooking smells linger after you cook, the fan sounds louder than usual, steam is not being pulled away, or you can see grease build-up on the underside of the canopy, the extractor is due a clean.

For most households cooking daily, once a year is a good baseline. Heavy daily cooking warrants every 6 months. Filters should be replaced or cleaned every 3 to 6 months separately.

No. MINT uses purpose-built ceramic hob scrapers and specialist cleaning products. Abrasive pads and general-purpose cleaners are never used on glass hob surfaces.
