What Is an Oven Health Report and Why Does It Matter?

An oven health report is a detailed condition assessment of your oven's key components, completed by your MINT technician at the end of every clean. It scores each part of your oven so you know exactly what condition everything is in and whether anything needs attention.

What We Score

After cleaning your oven, the technician scores each of the following components as Good, Fair, Needs Attention, or Needs Replacement:

  • Element condition
  • Door seal
  • Bulb(s)
  • Hinges
  • Glass (outer and inner)
  • Fan and motor
  • Racks and runners
  • Extractor filters (if applicable)

The system calculates an overall score out of 10 based on the individual component ratings. You receive this report by email and WhatsApp immediately after the clean, along with your before and after photos.

Why It Matters

Small problems become expensive problems. A worn door seal lets heat escape, which means your oven uses more energy and cooks unevenly. A failing element can stop working entirely at the worst possible moment (Christmas Day, anyone?). A cracked inner glass panel is a safety issue.

The health report catches these things early. A £5 bulb replacement now is better than realising your oven has no light the next time you need it.

No Other Oven Cleaner Offers This

Most oven cleaners clean the oven and leave. They do not check the condition of the components, they do not photograph them, and they do not give you a written report. The MINT oven health report is one of the things that sets us apart and gives you genuine value beyond a clean oven.
