BBQ Cleaning: How to Get Your BBQ Ready for Summer

The best time to book a professional BBQ clean is in spring, before you pull the cover off and fire it up for the first time. Old grease, carbon, and food residue from last summer affect the taste of your food, reduce the BBQ's performance, and can be a fire hazard.

What Is Included in a Professional BBQ Clean?

We strip your BBQ down completely. All grates, grills, drip trays, and removable parts are taken out and soaked in our heated dip tank — the same one we use for oven parts. While they are soaking, we degrease the BBQ body, lid, interior, and burners. Everything is reassembled and given a final polish. Before and after photos are taken so you can see the difference.

Pricing

Our BBQ cleaning prices are based on size: small BBQs are £70, medium £90, and large £110. A full clean takes approximately 2 hours. If we are already at your home cleaning your oven, we can also clean BBQ racks only at £12.50 per rack.

Hygiene

We use completely separate sheets, cloths, and overalls for BBQ cleaning. There is no cross-contamination with kitchen appliance work. Your oven clean and BBQ clean are treated as entirely separate jobs.

When to Book

Spring is ideal. Book in March or April and your BBQ is ready for the first sunny weekend. You can also book at the end of summer to put it away clean for the winter, rather than leaving last season's grease to harden over the colder months.
